Lesson Objective

During this lesson, the learner will be taught how to evaluate and improve your situational awareness.

Content

• As you progress in your flying skills increase, you will be able to develop increasing awareness of your environment. 
• Before first solo, you must have developed enough situational awareness to keep from getting into situations where you do not have enough skill to cope with the situation. 

Completion Standard

The learner will develop and consistently maintain sufficient situational awareness to simultaneously control the glider, monitor traffic, communicate, and evaluate the weather.
